Art
Free artwork for
illustrating Treasure and your own adventurers and campaigns:
- Art Passions
maintains a large selection of fantasy art from the Golden Age of
Illustration, which can be used as page or chapter covers,
illustrations within the 'rule's or within players' designs
- The
Comic Art
Collective is an artists' community full of professional
images of comic book heros
- Conceptart.org
is a great source of ideas and images
- Wikimedia
Commons is packed with plenty of free SVG vector
images, including heraldic art
- The Open Clipart Project

point for players' designs
Colours

- Color Cop is a
colour picker that makes it easy to identify colours on screen
- Adobe Kuler offers
a wide range of ready made colour palettes
- Colour Lovers

CSS
Cascading
Style Sheets offer an easy way to change fonts, position images, alter
backgrounds and 'style' web pages, including Treasure:
- csscreator hosts a
specialists' forum that can help with most CSS-related problems
- Open Source Web Design has a library of 2000+ free, CSS-based web design layouts
- W3C Schools
is the starting point for learning CSS and xhtml. We should spend more time there
Design
These
sites may be helpful when making designs or laying out pages:
- Renesis
is developing a standalone Scaleable Vector Graphics (SVG) suite that
includes a plug-in for displaying SVG images and animations in Internet
Explorer. SVG files offer numerous benefits over raster images and the
quicker they become more widely used the better
- Typechart displays web typography and lets you grab the CSS. Needs an update to include the 'C' fonts
- Vector Magic
is, perhaps, the best tracing software available. Unfortunately, the
desktop version is quite expensive. The online service is a
pay-as-you-go system, which gives good results
